ALERT: ICE and DHS are detaining immigrants at airports even if they have valid documents to board a flight. In view of the above, I believe it prudent to avoid both international and domestic flights if you: (1) do not have a valid and active visa; (2) are not a Legal Permanent Resident (LPR) or a U.S. citizen; or (3) do not have an APPROVED asylee or refugee status. I would also urge the following persons to reconsider air travel: DACA holders and asylees/refugees/LPRs with serious criminal histories. These are the noncitizens that ICE is currently targeting/arresting.

ALERTA: El ICE y el DHS están deteniendo a inmigrantes en los aeropuertos, incluso aunque dispongan de documentos válidos para embarcar en un vuelo. En vista de lo anterior, considero prudente evitar tanto los vuelos internacionales como los nacionales si: (1) no dispones de un visado válido y en vigor; (2) no es residente permanente legal (LPR) ni ciudadano estadounidense; o (3) no tiene la condición de asilado o refugiado APROBADA. También instaría a las siguientes personas a que se replanteen viajar en avión: los beneficiarios del programa DACA y los asilados, refugiados o residentes permanentes legales (LPR) con antecedentes penales graves. Estos son los no ciudadanos a los que ICE está persiguiendo y deteniendo actualmente
