Cox Bolton, LLP was formed in 2026 by attorneys McKenna Cox and Matt Bolton. After decades practicing at the great firm of Herndon, Coleman, Brading & McKee, LLP (affectionately known locally as HCBM or Herndon Coleman), McKenna and Matt formed their own firm when HCBM moved from its downtown location and our lawyers witnessed the legal needs of our community evolve. mbody the values of HCBM, which was originally founded in 1924 by Judge J.R. Simmons, while moving into the next 100 years with updated technology and a more relaxed office environment to better meet the needs of clients and our community. We continue to provide responsive and professional attention to all our clients’ needs and we are here to listen. We want to give our clients the help they require, not just tell them what they want to hear.
