An accident can turn your world upside down in a matter of seconds.

The physical, emotional, and financial impact can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to face it alone. After an injury, we encourage three important steps:

1️⃣ Lean on your faith for strength and comfort.
2️⃣ Follow the guidance of trusted medical professionals as you heal.
3️⃣ Work with an attorney who will stand up for your rights and pursue the compensation you deserve.

You focus on healing. We’ll focus on protecting your future.

⚖️ This Day in Legal History ⚖️

On this day in 1776, Virginia adopted the Virginia Declaration of Rights, one of the foundational documents that helped shape the United States Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Written primarily by George Mason, the declaration emphasized that our rights come from God — not government — and that government exists to serve the people, not rule over them.

Its principles of limited government, due process, freedom of the press, and the right of the people to hold government accountable became cornerstones of American law and liberty.

One of its most famous lines still resonates today: “All power is vested in, and consequently derived from, the people.”

Nearly 250 years later, the importance of constitutional rights and individual liberty remains as relevant as ever.

Today marks 82 years since D-Day—June 6, 1944—when Allied forces launched Operation Overlord, the largest seaborne invasion in history. Over 150,000 brave soldiers stormed the beaches of Normandy, turning the tide of World War II and defending the principles of freedom and democracy we hold dear today.

Today we honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and pledge to protect the freedoms they died defending. 🇺🇸

Georgia Legal Fact: It’s illegal to drive with ear buds in or headphones on (yes, we’re talking about your AirPods).

According to Georgia Code § 40-6-250 (2024), it is illegal to operate a motor vehicle while wearing a headset or headphone if it impairs your ability to hear. Additionally, wearing any device that impairs your vision is also prohibited. However, there is an exception: drivers are permitted to wear a headset or headphone for communication purpose, such as making or receiving a phone call.

⚖️ This Day in Legal History ⚖️

On May 29, 1865, President Andrew Johnson issued a proclamation offering amnesty and pardon to many former Confederates who were willing to take an oath of allegiance to the United States.

For the South, this marked an important moment in the long and difficult road that followed the Civil War. It raised major legal questions about restoration of rights, executive authority, and how a divided nation begins to rebuild under the rule of law.
