Did you know that you can take a bus or train from The Sansom Apartments in Rittenhouse Square and get dropped off right at a Wissahickon Valley Park trailhead? Hop on the 125 bus at JFK and 17th to the Wissahickon Transit Center, or take the NOR train from Suburban to Wissahickon Station. From both of those drop-off spots, the Ridge Avenue trailhead is quickly accessible. This trailhead has gorgeous views, fishing, hiking, picnicking, and great leaf-peeping spots.
