Facilitated by Melissa Paquette, this session will explore what it really takes to build a youth cycling program that lasts — from the behind-the-scenes realities of nonprofit management to the bigger challenge of keeping riders engaged through high school and beyond.

We’ll talk about:

- building the operational engine behind a successful youth team

- 501(c)(3) realities, equipment equity, and volunteer sustainability

- the “post-NICA” gap

- preventing age-18 burnout

- creating a stronger, longer pathway for riders from dirt to adulthood
