"When somebody tells me that they have a great case, but that there is just not enough insurance money, my eyes light up and I get hungry. I get a feeling in the pit of my stomach that says that there is no way that this insurance company should get off with just paying the limits on a case where you’ve got a lot of damages, their insured did something extremely wrong that caused a lot of harm, and the insurance company is going to do something to try and weasel out of its commitments. And so, when someone says that there is just not enough insurance, that’s the time to hit the gas. You have to double down on your efforts."

We are proud to represent the family of 21-year old Brianna Surface in their wrongful death lawsuit against Suburban Extended Stay in Columbia. Brianna tragically died after a 41-year old drug dealer caused her to ingest a fatal dose of fentanyl. This was a tragic death that never should have happened. We are committed to finding justice for this young woman’s family. This hotel was a haven for drug trafficking in Columbia and must be held accountable.
