Explorers!

Remember we have a meeting tomorrow. (Monday, July 27th) at 6pm at the PD.

This meeting is MANDATORY if you want to participate in Tuesdays festivities. I will notify you all by phone as well sometime today.

Today we worked on Active Shooter Incidents. The Explorers were able to clear buildings like SWAT. We use Air Soft pistols and live scenerios. They never knew what they were walking into.

Monday, June 8th, the Explorers worked on Active Shooter scenarios. We focused a lot of our attention on school shootings and all the different things and outcomes that could occur. They did a great job.

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation that designated May 15th as Peace Officers Memorial Day. The week in which it falls in is known as National Police Week.

National Police Week pays special recognition to those Law Enforcement Officers whom have lost their lives in the line of duty while protecting others. We honor their courage and salute their sacrifice.

Thank you.....Thank you to the ones we've lost, thank you to the ones still fighting that fight and thank you to the loved ones standing behind/supporting the Boys (and girls!) in blue.

It's National Teacher Appreciation Week, and here in Jasper a group of upperclassmen at Jasper High School honored their teachers on Tuesday by washing their cars.

Laid back meeting tonight.

The Explorers were all assigned duties for the Rodeo. Went over traffic stops and did a few team building exercises.

If you see any of our kids at the Rodeo let them know how good of a job they are doing!

Today we focused most our time on Physical Training. Our fastest runner in the 1/2 mile was Explorer D. Adams clocking in at a swift 2.04. Every did a great job. Very proud of these young adults!
