Distinguish between reputable personal injury law firms and others by scrutinizing the fine print in advertisements. Notice that attorneys are often depicted in scenarios such as accidents or taking measurements; however, they are not permitted to testify in their own trials. Consequently, when our firm engages an expert witness, that expert conducts measurements because they are required to testify. The attorney's role precludes them from testifying. Be cautious of misleading claims. If a personal injury settlement of $50 million is mentioned, it's likely an outlier. Most individuals involved in such cases are not as visibly unscathed as they might appear in advertisements. Take a moment to review the fine print carefully, as these advertisements are often short-lived. Our firm is selective about the cases we take on, and many potential clients attorney/firm are merely seeking to get you to sign a contingency fee agreement without scrutiny. If asked, I have real references.
