Two really cool things I learned during my Hague trial in Guam:

1. In Norway, you are required to take a minimum of 21 days vacation. If you do not actually use the minimum 21 days of vacation time, you can be fined and face other consequences.

2. Even in federal court, Island Shirt Day is enforced on Fridays in Guam. This picture is of me and my local counsel (Daron Berman) last Friday. The shirt you see Daron wearing is the shirt he wore in Court that day. 😂

I think we need to adopt both of these customs.

Justice was swift, immediate. In the United States of America, our federal courts are designed to uniformly enforce the rule of law, even when doing so requires four Deputy US Marshals to es**rt a litigant and his 7 year-old daughter, to ensure that a federal court order is carried out, executed, and enforced. In the United States, there is no refuge for the lawless.

Early tomorrow morning, I head to Guam one final time— this time for a federal trial. We found her. Now we are seeking to return this young girl to her home country of Norway.
