The first 6 months were HARD.
She was nursing, screaming a lot, puffy eyes from no sleep, constant stomach cramps… and eczema. I didn’t know if it was something I was doing.
When I realized dairy might be the issue, I cut it out immediately. Her cramps stopped right away. Her eczema cleared up within a week. 🙌🏽
At 7 months, I used Baby Sleep Made Simple ple . It wasn’t harsh — just gentle structure and consistency. And she’s been sleep trained ever since.
As a broker-owner, I needed sleep to show up fully — for my daughter, my husband, and my clients. Sleep changed our home and my ability to be present.

So my loctician show me a recipe for banana pudding pound cake doing one of my appointments 🤦🏾, And I feel like I had to make it. Lol 😂
She ain't no good for this. I done made it 3 times since. Out of order I am.
Ya'll this thing was soooo gooodd, I want it right now and just got off of a smoothie cleanse with that I half did, lol but I did lose 5lbs in the first 3 days.
That was good enough for me, lol 🤣 .

This morning pulled on my heart a little 🥹
Riley has always been good at drop-off. Walks in ready to play, barely looking back.
But the last couple weeks have been different.
She’s starting to talk more now — saying her little words (not full sentences yet). And this morning she grabbed my finger and pulled me toward the slide. That was her way of saying, “Mommy, come play.”
And I couldn’t.
As soon as I walked out, she cried.
And that cry… that bothered me more than anything.
.
She loves school. She’s flourishing so much.
I’m very intentional about how I structure my days. I schedule my appointments after a certain time so our mornings aren’t rushed.
She gets my attention first. I’m not half on the phone, half with her. And once I’ve shown up for her, I can step into real estate fully present too — clear-minded and focused, not feeling pulled in two directions.
Parenthood is beautiful and stretching all at the same time.

Today the world celebrates love ❤️
But love isn’t defined by culture… it’s defined by God.
Scripture says love is:
Patient, Kind, Not envious, Not boastful, Not proud, Not rude, Not self-seeking, Not easily angered, Keeps no record of wrongs, Rejoices with the truth, Always protects, Always trusts, Always hopes, Always perseveres, And love never fails. (1 Corinthians 13:4–8)
This Valentine’s Day, I’m not just talking about romance.
I’m talking about the kind of love that transforms your heart.
God wants you in His family.
He wants you to experience His love for yourself, not just hear about it from someone else.
There’s a difference between doing life our way… and doing life God’s way.
As our Creator, He knows best. We just have to trust Him.
If we loved the way God instructs us to love, putting others before ourselves.
Every need would be met because we’d all be taking care of each other.
If you’ve never truly gotten to know Him for yourself, start with his word and pray for wisdom and understanding before reading.
Don’t just take someone’s word for it… try Him for yourself.
Nothing compares to experiencing the love of God. 🤍

Okayyy so I tried a new spot 🍳
I ordered the Truffle Crunch Burger and listen… it was GOOD 🤤 I had them put the truffle sauce on the side because I needed to taste everything first — and it did not disappoint.
But this is why I do this…
As a broker, I can’t truly guide my clients if I don’t know what’s around them — especially the ones relocating here.
I’m always out learning the area, meeting business owners, and building real connections so when my clients ask:
“Where should we eat?”
“Do you know a good contractor?”
“Who do you recommend for ____?”
I actually have answers.
Real estate is more than contracts. It’s community. It’s resources. It’s relationships.
So yes… I’m doing research for y’all 😉🏡
