Last but not least, Happy Mother's Day to Alisa Wilkes! Her children have experienced firsthand over the years how the sacrifice, diligence, patience, and love only a mother can provide has blessed their lives.

From her daughter, Madie:

"There’s no ‘if’ because my mom already is a superhero. Her superpower is helping people through hard things and making them feel safe, and her superhero name is 'WonderMom.'"

From her daughter, Lauren:

"I feel like her superpower would be making everyone around her feel safe, loved, and like everything is going to be okay no matter what’s happening. She always seems to know the right thing to say and somehow always knows how to handle every situation. Her superhero name would be 'The Compass' because no matter where life takes us, she’s always the one guiding the people she loves back home."

From her son, Jordan, and his wife, Dawn:

"Ours would be 'Mama Justice' — feared by villains, adored by citizens; strongest when protecting family."

Now a Happy Mother's Day to every mom who does her best to leave a legacy of love for her children, through the good and the not-so-good days.

“If my mom were a superhero, she would save hearts instead of cities. She’s caring, always there when anyone needs her, and somehow makes everything feel okay again. She’s my best friend, my safe place, and I’m thankful for her every day.”

“If our mom had a superpower, she would be able to fly, and her superhero name would be 'The Amazing Mom!'” That’s how Ericka’s kids describe her.

Ericka is our firm’s legal administrator but will soon be moving to the role of closer for Accelerated Title Solutions. We’re lucky to have such a talented Mom on our team.

What does it take to be Yanina’s child? Apparently a front-row seat to a real-life superhero. When we asked her family what her superpower would be they said:

“First of all, this isn’t a superpower she COULD have, it’s one that she ACTUALLY has. Our Mom’s superpower is magically finding things in the fridge that the rest of us swore were gone, or somehow getting a full scoop of peanut butter or Nutella out of an ‘empty’ jar and finding lost things around the house that the rest of us have already looked for three times.” Kenny, Teresa and Lucas all agree that their Mom’s superhero name would be "Super Mom Detective."

Yanina is the intake coordinator at Wilkes & Mee, but she’s also a fantastic organizer. She keeps our office running very smoothly.

Meet Nikol, our client success coordinator.

We asked her kids what superpower she’d have and what her superhero name would be.

Naveena said, “If my mom was a superhero, her superpower would be either invisibility or telekinesis, and her superhero name would be 'The Mominator.'"

Max said, “If my mom was a superhero, she would have the power to teleport and her superhero name would be 'The Pincher.'"

We call Nikol “Mary Poppins.” She has everything you could ever need any time you ask her. We think that’s a superpower in itself.

Happy Mother’s Day, Nikol! We are pretty lucky your kids share you with us.

We already knew they were superheroes, but we wanted a second opinion, so we went to the experts: their kids.

We asked, "If your mom had a superpower, what would it be, and what would be her superhero name?”

Another major traffic incident on I-95 near IGP. Drive carefully, and avoid the interstate in that area if possible.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Northbound lanes are back open.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: The SJSO SWAT and Crisis Negotiation teams have taken the subject into custody for evaluation without incident. There is no danger to the public. I-95 southbound lanes are reopen. Northbound lanes will remain closed until further notice.

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: SJSO is in contact with an armed subject experiencing mental health issues. Traffic is being diverted at IGP/ I-95 and SR 16/ I95.

𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓: SJSO is on scene of an active investigation on I-95 at MM321. North and southbound lanes are shutdown at this time.

FYI, wreck on 210 west of St. Johns Parkway. Use alternate routes. No news yet about injuries.

Drivers should expect delays on Monday after a crash with injuries closed lanes on County Road 210 at the Cartwheel Bay Avenue intersection.
