We understand that unexpected situations can arise. One (1) reschedule is permitted with at least 72 hours’ notice prior to your scheduled ceremony.

- The deposit remains non-refundable under all circumstances.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 72 hours in advance may require a new deposit.

As a Tennessee Notary, here are 10 legit things you can do (and get paid for)—especially strong for mobile notaries like you:

1. General Notarizations
Acknowledgments, jurats, affidavits, sworn statements, powers of attorney, etc.

2. Loan Signings (Loan Signing Agent)
Mortgage refinances, purchases, seller packages, HELOCs (big pay days 💰) REQUIRES ADDITIONAL TRAINING.

3. Real Estate Documents (Non-Loan)
Deeds, quitclaim deeds, title transfers, landlord docs.

4. Wedding Officiant Services
Tennessee allows notaries to perform marriages 👰🏽‍♀️🤵🏽‍♂️ (great add-on service).

5. Mobile Notary Services
Travel to homes, hospitals, jails, nursing homes, businesses (charge travel fees).

6. I-9 Employment Verification (Requires becoming an Authorized Rep) Verify employee identity for remote hires (not notarized, but allowed).

7. Jail & Detention Center Notarizations
Power of attorney, legal affidavits, family docs (high demand, premium fees).

8. Hospital & Healthcare Notarizations
Advance directives, living wills, healthcare POAs.

9. Small Business & Startup Documents
LLC affidavits, contracts, partnership agreements, vendor forms.

10. Apostille Facilitation (Support Service)
If you can’t issue apostilles, but you can notarize docs and help clients submit them to the TN Secretary of State.
