Welcome‎ to‎ the‎ Firm,‎ John!

⁣An‎ update‎ to‎ our‎ earlier‎ welcome:‎ We‎ originally‎ shared‎ this‎ post‎ before‎ John‎ had‎ completed‎ the‎ final‎ steps‎ to‎ practice‎ law‎ in‎ Wyoming.‎ We’re‎ happy‎ to‎ say‎ those‎ steps‎ are‎ now‎ complete‎ —‎ John‎ has‎ passed‎ the‎ Wyoming‎ Bar‎ and‎ has‎ been‎ sworn‎ in.

⁣So‎ now,‎ we‎ can‎ officially‎ say:
⁣We’re‎ excited‎ to‎ welcome‎ John‎ Moorhead‎ to‎ The‎ Spence‎ Law‎ Firm‎ as‎ an‎ Associate‎ Attorney!!!!

⁣John‎ graduated‎ last‎ spring‎ with‎ Honors‎ from‎ the‎ Alexander‎ Blewett‎ III‎ School‎ of‎ Law‎ at‎ the‎ University‎ of‎ Montana,‎ where‎ he‎ earned‎ a‎ dual‎ J.D./Master‎ of‎ Public‎ Administration‎ (MPA)‎ degree.‎ During‎ law‎ school,‎ John‎ was‎ a‎ recipient‎ of‎ the‎ Dean’s‎ Award‎ and‎ was‎ a‎ member‎ of‎ the‎ Montana‎ Law‎ Review.

⁣Originally‎ from‎ Sewickley,‎ Pennsylvania,‎ John‎ now‎ calls‎ Wilson,‎ Wyoming‎ home,‎ where‎ he‎ lives‎ with‎ his‎ wife,‎ Sarah.

The‎ Teton‎ County‎ Fair‎ 🎡🎢🎟️ is‎ one‎ of‎ those‎ summer‎ traditions‎ that‎ brings‎ the‎ whole‎ Jackson‎ Hole‎ community‎ together.‎ The‎ 4-H‎ Auction,‎ where‎ local‎ youth‎ 4-H‎ members‎ showcase‎ and‎ sell‎ the‎ livestock‎ they’ve‎ raised,‎ is‎ a‎ pretty‎ special‎ part‎ of‎ it.
⁣
⁣This‎ year,‎ The‎ Spence‎ Law‎ Firm‎ was‎ proud‎ to‎ purchase‎ a‎ Market‎ Lamb‎ raised‎ by‎ Ruth‎ Dornan‎ and‎ the‎ Grand‎ Champion‎ Market‎ Goat‎ raised‎ by‎ Izzy‎ Mixter.

⁣But‎ the‎ story‎ didn’t‎ end‎ at‎ the‎ auction.

⁣We‎ donated‎ the‎ animals‎ to‎ Hole‎ Food‎ Rescue‎ and‎ the‎ Community‎ Safety‎ Network,‎ giving‎ these‎ two‎ 4-H‎ projects‎ another‎ way‎ to‎ make‎ an‎ impact‎ right‎ here‎ in‎ our‎ community.

⁣We’re‎ proud‎ to‎ support‎ Ruth‎ and‎ Izzy‎ and‎ the‎ hard‎ work‎ they‎ put‎ into‎ raising‎ these‎ animals,‎ and‎ grateful‎ for‎ the‎ opportunity‎ to‎ support‎ two‎ local‎ organizations‎ doing‎ important‎ work‎ in‎ our‎ community.
