Prof. Crystal L. Welch and her law students from MC Law’s Youth Court Clinic joined MJBWLA in celebration of Read Across America Week by reading to the Van Wonderful students at Van Winkle Elementary. It was Pajama Day and students were able to dress in cozy pajamas to snuggle up as they were being read to by “celebrity” guests! They also discussed with the young scholars the work they do in the juvenile justice system to encourage early career exploration and promote positive behavior. Happy Read Across America Week!
