DRIVING WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE CAN RESULT IN A FELONY CHARGE NOW!

New York State announced the implementation of Angelica’s Law on November 1, 2024. Under this law, if you are caught driving with 5 or more suspensions imposed on 5 separate dates, you will be charged with an Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree – a class E felony.
When a person is convicted of this crime, the sentence of the court must be a fine ranging from $500.00 to $5,000.00 and can result in imprisonment of up to 2 years and/or probation.

If you have been charged with An Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the 1st degree, it is very important that you call an experienced traffic attorney to assist you in defending this charge and restoring your driving privileges.
