•Coastal flooding: Elevated tides could worsen flooding Saturday and Sunday, particularly in low-lying neighborhoods.
•Severe weather: Gusty winds, isolated tornadoes, and dangerous rip currents are possible.
•Timing: Greatest concern is Friday night through Sunday morning, with particularly heavy rain possible Saturday afternoon and evening.

What to do today: Secure outdoor furniture, clear accessible drainage areas, and move vehicles away from flood-prone streets. Avoid driving through standing water.

Helpful update: Charleston is offering free storm parking at five city garages from 6 p.m. Friday until 4 p.m. Sunday for city residents.
