Exciting news for our Israeli clients. Starting December 1, 2023, Israeli Citizens will no longer need a visa to visit the United States for tourist or business purposes (which until now requires a B1/B2 visa). Instead, Israelis will be able to get authorization to enter the United States by using ESTA, like the citizens of other countries that are a member of the Visa-Waiver Program.

Thank you Michael Cort Photography!

If you also happen to find that the best spiffy photo you have of yourself is a blurry group shot taken at a networking event 5 years ago, be like Ameya here and give me a call. It was great catching up with .pendse and hooking him up with some fresh headshots for his main hustle, side hustle, and all future hustles.

With countless people from around world, our office also mourns the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.

We send our condolences to the Royal Family and to our clients from Canada, the UK, and various other nations in the Commonwealth.

As I recently became a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada (where the Queen was the Head of State) I feel lucky and special to know that I will be one of the last lawyers to have the Queen’s name on my Bar Admission Certificate, as they will now be made in the name of the King. May she rest in peace.

Canada is easing its Border Restrictions starting April 1, 2022

Calling all travellers! 📣

As of April 1, 2022, the Government of Canada is easing border measures, moving towards a sustainable approach to COVID-19. From this date, fully vaccinated travellers will no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID test.

Until this measure comes into force, travellers should continue to follow the existing border measures.

Happy to share that our client from Israel got his K-1 Fiancé visa appoved. With COVID-19 related delays the entire process took over a year, but we’re happy that he is coming to the United States so he can marry his fiancé (and soon to be husband).

Once they get married, he will be eligible to apply for his Green Card! Congratulations!

Our office just successfully overturned a visa refusal made by one of the U.S. Consulate-Generals in India.

After our client’s K-1 Fiancée visa was wrongfully refused, we appealed the decision directly to the U.S. Department of State.

Once the attorneys at the Department of State reviewed our legal arguments (regarding our client’s circumstances)- the State Department overturned the visa refusal and ordered the U.S. Consulate-General to issue our client their K-1 visa.

Our client now has their visa and is packing their bags so they can finally come to the United States — to marry their American-citizen Fiancée!

We wish them the best!
