Hiring: Our office is hiring for a part-time, seasonal office staff support person. Looking for someone who has good personal / client communication skills, some knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel) and comfortable with a computer. Desirable skills would be familiarity with tax preparation and/or accounting skills. We are offering a family atmosphere, some flexibility and opportunity for growth and advancement. This position could lead to a year round and/or full time job.

We are currently open and working through our drive thru and walk up window in back entrance. We have some updates that we would like to address to help you all in these uncertain times. To our clients, letters went out this week with some resources and common asked questions that are answered attached in the second page of letter. If you are not a client or did not receive this letter here is a brief overview:

Filing & Tax Payment dates - IRS and MN have been extended to July 15, 2020

If you lose your source of income there is help - Minnesota has issues an executive order to ensure workers have access to unemployment benefits if they are affected by the COVID - 19 closings ( you may still qualify even if - you are still employed but have a loss of hours)

Will Peter & Associates move to working from home? - We are very fortunate to have a old bank building with the drive up but our staff does have the ability to remotely work if it is deemed necessary to be at our homes. We will continue to work for you and can communicate by email and phone.

We will try to keep posting resources to help you benefit in these hard times and posting updates on how we will continue to operate. Please share and spread the word if these updates can be useful to anyone you may know!

To keep you safe and our staff safe, we are asking you to use are drive thru located in the back of the building or the customer window in back entry way for all services.(pick up / drop off). Please be assured that we are here for you and, even though we prefer to meet face to face, we feel confident that our new drive thru set up will allow us to continue working with you while making sure we are putting the well being of everyone as our highest priority.
