📢 California Workers: More Minimum Wage Hikes for July 1! 💸

This year, California made big moves for workers’ pay—but it’s not over yet.

âś… As of January 1, 2024, the statewide minimum wage increased to $16.00/hr, with some industries and locations requiring even more.

🍔 On April 1, fast food workers saw a separate increase.
🏥 Now, healthcare workers across California will see a new minimum wage standard take effect on July 1, 2024.

📍Several cities and counties are also bumping up their local minimum wage on July 1.
If local and state laws conflict, employers must follow the stricter (higher-paying) rule that favors workers.

Don’t leave money on the table—know your rights, check your paycheck, and speak up if something looks off.

Remember, if you believe you’ve been wrongfully terminated, it’s important to consult with a legal professional to explore your options. Understanding your rights is crucial! 👍
