1983 Chevy C10 Silverado for Sale
This beautiful long-bed Square Body truck is a well-preserved restoration, though not a frame-off build. The body retains its original paint with minor touch-ups, as we wanted to preserve as much originality as possible. The bed was sanded, repainted and fitted with new aluminum protective trim around the bed rails.
The interior has been extensively refreshed with: new door panels, pull straps, chrome strap caps, stainless door panel trim, window moldings, power window motors, power lock and window switches, a new dash bezel, and a new headliner. The dashboard was also replaced approximately two years ago.
Under the hood, the engine has been upgraded with an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, a performance HEI ignition system, MSD spark plug wires, a chrome dress-up kit, and new sensors. The engine compartment has been restored and detailed for a clean, well-maintained appearance. It blows a little smoke, but it runs good!
Exterior improvements include new trim, a new Chevrolet tailgate emblem, new taillight lenses, and refinished grille and headlight bezels. The factory Chevrolet rally wheels were stripped to bare metal and repainted in the correct factory color. Numerous other areas of the truck have been detailed and refinished as part of the restoration.
The main points that drew me to the truck was the fact that there was no rust in the normal places that these trucks rust (cab corners, door corners, wheel edges, etc.) You can see the original pain in the door jams and it is amazing! There is rust on the underside. It can be scraped and sealed or left alone. The original paint under the hood is also in great shape.
There are multiple chips in the original paint (See close up photo). I touched them up. I didn’t take pictures of every chip.
