This month, I also had the honor of contributing an article to the Indianapolis Recorder titled "I Am Not My Hair..." https://lnkd.in/gQBEv6hx addressing the critical conversation around hair discrimination. This issue is more than aesthetic—it's a matter of identity, rights, and history, reflecting the lived experiences of Black women daily.
In line with our commitment to addressing these pivotal issues, Black Onyx Management, Inc. is proud to sponsor an event hosted by the Marion County Bar Association (MCBA). This gathering aims to shed light on the pervasive issue of hair discrimination and its legal and historical implications for Black women.
