He brings decades of experience representing debtors, creditors, committees, and trustees in bankruptcy cases throughout Indiana and across the country.

A Best Lawyers honoree in Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights, Mike's career includes a federal clerkship with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana and time at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York before returning home to Indiana.

PLG attorney Avery Brown recently completed the Indiana Trial Advocacy Skills College (a/k/a "Trial Camp"), an annual intensive trial advocacy program, and we're so glad she did.

Over four long days, Avery worked through a simulated jury trial from start to finish, from jury selection all the way to closing argument, with additional exercises and lectures along the way (including one on opening statements from long-time Trial Camp instructor Tony Paganelli). It's the kind of hands-on training that accelerates a young lawyer's growth in ways that classroom learning simply can't.

Avery gave it everything she had and came back a better lawyer for it. We couldn't be prouder.

The Pre-Law Association at Indiana University hosted an awards luncheon in Bloomington last week, where PLG Managing Attorney Tony Paganelli spoke with students preparing to enter the legal profession.

Tony discussed the importance of continuous learning, resilience through inevitable losses, and building strong professional relationships. He encouraged students to view everyone they encounter in the courtroom not simply as an opponent, but as a future colleague.

Following the program, Tony spent time meeting with students and answering thoughtful questions about the profession. We’re proud to see our founder continue investing in the next generation of lawyers and supporting students as they begin their legal journeys.

In the latest installment of our series, we're introducing you to a paralegal with a passion for real estate and an eye for detail!

Julie Dreyfus brings experience in nonprofit and real estate to her role at PLG, where she supports a team of attorneys working primarily in real estate and business litigation. Julie assists in maintaining calendars and case files, and drafts motions, pleadings, and client correspondence.

Outside of work, Julie loves spending time with her family, cheering on Indiana sports teams, and catching live music whenever she can.

PLG attorneys Rebecca Loeffler and Carrie Hill took the tee at the 2026 Indiana PGA Annual Meeting, presenting "Avoiding the Rough: Legal Thoughts for the Golf Course." The Horizon Convention Center in Muncie played host to over 200 PGA members and associates from across Indiana for a day of learning and connection. PLG is proud of Rebecca and Carrie for delivering valuable legal guidance to the Indiana PGA community.
