We are proud to announce the most recent addition to the BBR team - Ashley Denny, who is a paralegal that will largely serve our commercial collection clients. BBR attorney Tom Blackwell is looking forward to attending the 126th "Un-Gala" Birthday Bash for Aspire House on Udell Street. on Friday February 10, 2023 at The AMP at 16 Tech. Tom is a member of the Board of Directors for Aspire House and the Aspire Higher Foundation. The 126th "Un-Gala" Birthday Bash will be an evening of food, fun, and games benefitting Aspire Higher Foundation's programs.

Aspire Higher Foundation exists to provide the youth of Indianapolis with opportunities that bend the arc of social justice in their direction by providing educational, technical, economic, social, and sporting programs for seniors and youth of color, in particular. BBR attorney Sarah Fowler was invited to join Erin Radefeld with Northwestern Mutual at today’s Nawbo Indianapolis Visionary Awards presented by PNC. NAWBO-Indianapolis honors and supports women business owners, a cause about which BBR is also passionate!

Although we had a few members of the BBR team missing for today's holiday luncheon, we know they were with us in spirit! It is always enjoyable to spend time with one another while enjoying good food catering by Sahm's Restaurants, drinks, and made up contests complete with prizes.

Top prizes for dress were awarded to Jacquelyn Hutson in the category of "Most Likely to be an Elf," Jason Burke in the category of "Dressed and Ready to Draft Santa's Noncompete Agreement," and Kara Ellis in the category of "Best Holiday Skirt," with an honorable mention to Thomas Blackwell in the category of "Most Creative Use of Other's Holiday Apparel."

It is always good to catch up and spend time with colleagues.

BBR is grateful for the opportunity to present a “Lunch and Learn” to one of our clients regarding chapter 11 and subchapter V bankruptcies today. Using Zoom/Teams, we were able to have members of the client’s team from across the Midwest join us for both education and Q&A.

Whether in person or by Zoom, we love being invited into our client’s space and providing some “legal tidbits” that allow our clients to be even better at their jobs! Thank you for the opportunity and look forward to seeing you again soon!
