I have a custom new build where the primary shower is sunken by 3” and curious what you all think.

A: Like! It’s a vibe, unique design element, and may help keep water better contained. Plus, when building custom I want standout features.

B: Dislike! It’s odd and unnecessary. It could be a tripping hazard and may hurt the home’s desirability when selling.

With custom design elements, it comes down to a mindful balance between personal enjoyment, functionality, and future resale impact.

But in this scenario, where do you land?? 🧐

If you bought a house in 2025 make sure your homestead exemption is filed and transferred into your name.

Save thousands on your property taxes! It was likely taken care of by your title company, but it’s always a good idea to double check with your county. Consider going to the assessor’s office to get a receipt.

You have until the end of the year to get this taken care of - deadline is Dec. 31 - but why wait until the last minute??

Hey! Want to get to know me better?

I grew up in Franklin, IN and went on to graduate from Indiana University with degrees in Communications and Journalism.

As a former athlete, I always had my eye on launching a career in sports marketing or public relations – just to continue to be around the game.

After school I spent time working in the Arena Football League in Tampa, FL, Columbus, OH and in Indianapolis.

Working in sports kind of requires you to bounce around from place to place to advance, which wasn’t for me.

So, I spent time trying to figure it all out – including a year living out in Newport Beach, CA.

After a hodgepodge of sales jobs, I found myself opening a retail art gallery and event venue in downtown Indy.

We had a good run selling art and hosting various private events, but Covid put a damper on what we were building. I then had a conversation with a good buddy of mine who’s involved in real estate investing - knowing me well, he suggested that I look into real estate.

I decided to get my license and dedicate myself to mastering the art and science of buying and selling homes at optimal prices.

Since day one, I have taken a professional, personalized approach to buying and selling homes, understanding everyone’s situation and motivation is different.

It’s always a pleasure to be part of such a big life event alongside my clients.

I pride myself in prompt, open communication with people, authenticity, and a proactive mindset to achieve the real estate goals of every client I team up with.

I want to ensure a smooth experience for my clients, so they’ll be confident in referring me to their friends and family – which is the lifeblood of my business.

Today, I’m grateful to be creating stress-free, customized pathways to buying and selling homes in the Greater Indianapolis, IN area.

Oh, and I have a seven-year-old daughter whom I love more than the air I breathe!

Top concerns keeping renters away from homeownership are perceived lack of income, cash needed to buy, and credit score. Understandable. But loans available for as little as 3.5% down + low interest rates = owning a home might be more realistic than you think.
