If your baby constantly rests with their knees bent and legs spread wide, you’re looking at the "frog legs" position. For many, it’s just a developmental phase, but for some, it’s a red flag for hypotonia or hip dysplasia.
If you noticed this posture immediately after a difficult delivery, it may not be "just a phase". Nerve damage or spinal injuries during birth can affect how your baby holds themselves.
