COVID-19 has put a halt on most constable obligations due to courthouse's closings and restrictions. With re-opening fewer restrictions are in place with courthouses. The Governor has extended the moratorium on non-essential evictions and foreclosures till Oct. 17, 2020. The attached article is from the state's website.

During COVID-19, many things are on a standstill. Day by day, the state is slowly opening based on a public health recommendations. The court houses in MA are slowly re-opening with few restrictions. Attached below is a link of what to expect if you need to go to a courthouse in MA.

Although courthouses are open, all courts will still conduct most business virtually -- by telephone, videoconference and email. If you must go to the courthouse, here is what you should know.
