For those who may have missed the recent article local in The Hutchinson Tribune regarding the Christian Soup Ministry, we wanted to share more about their recent need.
Ms. Stanley Murdock has served as the director of the Soup Ministry for more than 30 years. Suffering from spinal stenosis, she and many other aging volunteers may be forced to retire if the funds cannot be raised to purchase a stair lift.
Generations is proud to donate $500 in support of the Christian Soup Ministry. We encourage others, including other businesses to pledge their support! A GoFundMe is linked below.
"Christian Soup Ministry is open from 1 to 6 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, excluding the first Monday of each month, and 2 to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Food is served at 5 p.m., following a devotional.
Outside of financial contributions, Murdock said, “There’s always something for people to do,” for those wishing to volunteer their time and effort."
Also linked in the comments is the full article. A subscription is required, however. (That's how the newspaper can afford to pay its bills!)
