We know there are WAY too many incredible teachers in Putnam County Schools for us to only have a handful of names in the running so far!
We have 4 Dirty Birds tickets + a $25 Starbucks gift card set aside for one deserving Putnam County teacher, and nominating your favorite takes less than a minute!

Our Fill the Bus box still has plenty of room, and with the school year getting closer, we’d really love your help filling it! This year, every school supply you donate won’t just help a local student start the year prepared—it could also win you a night at the ballpark. ⚾
From now through Friday, August 14, every individual school supply donated earns you ONE raffle entry. And because backpacks are one of the biggest needs (and a little more expensive), every backpack donated earns FIVE entries! 🎒
We’ll draw 3 winners on Monday, August 17, and each winner will receive 4 tickets to a Charleston Dirty Birds game of their choice! 🎉
So yes... that $0.50 notebook counts as an entry. A pack of pencils? Another entry. Crayons? Another. Donate 10 individual items and you’ve got 10 chances to win. It doesn’t take a huge donation to help us fill this bus—or to get your name in the drawing! 🎟️🎟️

📍 Dropping supplies off in person? Our Fill the Bus box is located in the downstairs lobby at Prim Law Firm, 3825 Teays Valley Road in Hurricane. After dropping off, just take the elevator up to our second-floor lobby and let us know your name, phone number, and what you donated. In a hurry? Attach a Post-it or note to your donation bag with your name and phone number instead. We’ll be checking the box throughout the drive and counting everything as it comes in. 💙
