Today is my last day as an attorney at Dixon Law Office PLLC because I will be sworn in tomorrow as Cabell County Family Court Judge.

I had the privilege to spend my last day in court as an attorney doing what I love most… an adoption for a family that I have represented for several years. Congratulations to the Bias family as you welcome your sweet Jayla permanently into your home.

In the last several weeks I completed several adoptions as my last acts in the courtroom on this side of the bench.

Congratulations to all these wonderful families. It’s my pleasure to be your attorney.

What a wonderful day in Cabell County courts. Two loving families were able to join the littlest of their broods into their families legally and permanently.

What an amazing summer we had at Dixon Law Office PLLC. We gained a young and energetic paralegal, Emily, and also had the help of two law student interns, Taylor and Rileigh, who did a phenomenal job working on appellate briefs and orders and pleadings and research! They joined me in courtrooms around the state all summer.

Of course, Shiela, is my OG paralegal/office administrator and I cannot say enough about her.. she holds down this fort.

And everyone now knows Rudolph. He's the only male in our office but I guess it's okay because he's a dog. LOL

Huntington in Bloom knocked it out of the park with the gorgeous flowers this year.
