H-1B Update: On Sept. 19, 2025, President Trump signed a Proclamation requiring a $100,000 fee for new H-1B petitions filed on or after Sept. 21, 2025. The government has clarified that this does not apply to existing H-1B visa holders—renewals are not affected, and current visa holders can travel as usual. Many questions remain about extensions, change-of-employer petitions, and how the fee will be processed. Potential legal challenges and injunctions may impact or delay enforcement. https://www.state.gov/h-1b-faq/?fbclid=IwY2xjawM-LAFleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHl1ZSfUqAVj3kPl2YXak-ksFOGQNszPCHrqjIupqq1n0w2DzzPYrpeI_C3Kq_aem_Ue4t76Iz8lWQMuGr7C_r0g

🚨 H-1B Update 🚨

President Trump has announced a proclamation effective September 21, 2025, requiring a $100,000 fee for H-1B workers entering or reentering the U.S. This lasts one year and impacts those currently outside the U.S.

⚠️ Even if you are already in the U.S. in H-1B status, international travel is strongly discouraged until further guidance is issued, as reentry could trigger the new fee.
