She was going to be a surgeon, then a hit-and-run driver took it away.

Or did they?

That’s the question in Part 2 of What Would You Do?” with attorney Mike Cook. A young medical student is hit while biking in the lane. The driver flees. She suffers a hand injury and says she’ll never be able to operate, and she’s asking for millions in future lost wages.

The defense says that’s speculative and not certain. What’s your call? Would you award her substantial compensation? Comment below.

We're thrilled to announce that Lawrence Kalikhman has once again been selected to Super Lawyers, which marks another year of recognition that stretches back all the way to 2020!

Lawrence has spent over two decades fighting for injured Pennsylvanians and this honor reflects what our clients have known all along: relentless preparation and a willingness to take on the toughest fights for the people who need it most.

Congratulations, Lawrence. Well earned!

The number one reason we fire clients?

Dishonesty.

When hiring us or any lawyer, be honest. If you lie, everything gets distorted and we cannot help you. We’d rather take an honest client with bad facts in their case than a lying client with a slam dunk one.

Part 1 of What Would You Do? Real cases and real facts.

An elderly woman gets lost. She pulls into a gas station for directions. She walks through an open repair bay, falls into the mechanic’s pit (which is right by the entrance), breaks both arms, and suffers a concussion.

Who’s liable: Shop owner, the woman, or both?

Drop your verdict in the comments.

How often do personal assets get involved in a personal injury case?

It’s very rare, and this is the exact reason you should have good insurance coverage in case anything happens.

Yesterday we joined for their Annual Walk to Remember as an official sponsor.

A community in red walking together to honor those lost to domestic violence and to stand with those still finding their way forward.

The Amy’s Kisses Foundation does the hard yet beautiful work of remembering and educating. We are honored to support their mission.
