Think what you want, I believe all these assassination attempts are most likely a hoax all of them. In each case the shooter is still alive. Yes, someone was kill in the shooting that grazed his ear, I believe that was by accident. This latest one was not even about him, but they've used it to get him as much sympathy as possible. Many Republicans are regretting voting for him, they see what Democrats have known all along. He's not presidential material, he's a bully not a business man. He's corrupt not interested in what happens to America. His slogan should be “Get the money and run.”. His polls are so low that he's facing a mid term that could be devastating to him and the Republican party. The war in Iran is backfiring on him, just listen to how many times we have been close to a peace negotiations.
On January 16, 2016, the International Atomic Energy Agency verified that Iran has completed the necessary steps under the Iran deal that will ensure Iran's nuclear program is and remains exclusively peaceful.
What was Trumps war with Iran about? Preventing Iran from building a nuclear bomb. Just read the agreement that was signed under President Obama that President Trump terminated. Iran was under control with it's nuclear objectives and were in compliance as monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Read “The Iran deal”

The reason we don't have a peace you can't continue to threaten an enemy and expect that they will trust you. one is because the whole idea is made up.

Talks with Putin most likely had nothing to do with Iran, it was about Ukraine if anything.

This government has lied to you so many times, that only an idiot would continue to believe anything they say.

No modern president has faced this many threats.

Update on my election posting for Florida. I have learned that on your drivers license the shaded area on the back contains your signature. Not sure how many people knew that, I certainly didn't. I would assumed that they would be scanning that at the voting polls. How that will work for mail in ballots or for those that might not have a drivers license or other ID with a shaded area or signature is still up in the air. Hopefully the Supervisor of Elections will clarify that before the mid terms. Keep in mind that if you've had a change whether it's in address or name you need to update at OCFelections.gov or call 407-836-8683

I've sent them an email for clarification on these questions and my recommendations.

This is such a sad story that someone would kill for what a game. It's a good thing that I'm not on this jury when they get caught. I would want those responsible put to death. And if it was up to me that would occur right after theya re found guilty. Not twenty years after.

May these two rest in peace.

Father and Daughter Found Shot to Death on Mississippi Gravel Road After Allegedly Traveling to Buy PS5

On March 2, 2026, at approximately 7:00 a.m., deputies with the Panola County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of what appeared to be a one-vehicle crash along River Road on the outskirts of Sardis in Panola County, Mississippi.

A passerby had called 911 after noticing the vehicle.

When deputies arrived, they discovered two individuals inside suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victims were identified as 39-year-old Victor Gonzalez and 19-year-old Serenity Gonzalez.

Both were pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators said the double homicide may have occurred sometime late Saturday or early Sunday, though the exact timeline has not been confirmed.

A family member told media that Victor and Serenity were traveling to meet someone regarding a PlayStation 5 listed on Facebook Marketplace at the time of the shooting. Law enforcement has not publicly confirmed that detail.

Family members also stated they were told tire tracks at the scene suggested the vehicle may have been attempting to flee. Authorities have not verified that information.

Sheriff Shane Phelps confirmed he has spoken with the victims’ family but has not released details regarding what led up to the shooting. No suspects have been publicly identified, and a motive has not been confirmed.

Neighbors described the section of River Road where the vehicle was found as a lightly traveled gravel road primarily known to local residents.

According to family members, Victor and Serenity were electricians who worked on homes in the Memphis area.

The investigation remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact CrimeStoppers of Panola County at 662-209-2011.

Retirement Announcement – Paul Lastra

After serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, I retired on March 1, 1989. Many people, including my wife, encouraged me to continue my military career, but I had already decided I wanted to pursue a second chapter in life. Years earlier, I had seen a movie about a real estate agent showing homes, and the idea of helping people find their place in the world never left me.

My final assignment at NORAD, Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs, is where my real estate journey quietly began. While still on active duty, I started taking courses and even obtained my insurance license, which I practiced part-time. After retiring and moving to Orlando, I earned my real estate license and officially began my career in 1990.

Now, 35 years later, I am grateful to look back on two fulfilling careers—first in the military, and then in real estate. It has been an honor to assist families in purchasing their first homes, selling their current ones, and beginning new chapters. Over the years, I’ve worked with parents, their children, and even their grandchildren—many of whom have become lifelong friends.

I never measured success by sales volume. For me, real estate was always about honesty, integrity, and helping people make the best decision for their future. Sometimes that meant advising investors not to buy when the numbers didn’t make sense. My reward was knowing they valued my candor and trusted me to put their interests first.

Some memories will always stand out—like helping a Mexican family, who spoke very little English, discover they qualified for a home. With the help of dedicated mortgage partners, we made their dream a reality. The joy on their faces, surrounded by family in their new home, remains one of the proudest moments of my career.

This week, I made the decision to hang up my real estate hat after 35 incredible years. To every client and family I’ve had the privilege of working with—whether we completed a closing together or simply explored the possibility—thank you. It has been my deepest honor to serve you.

Though I am retiring from active real estate, I will remain available for consultation, and my former office will continue to serve future clients with the same care and commitment.

With gratitude,
Paul Lastra

There’s a growing concern among many Americans about the direction our country is heading. There are efforts underway to consolidate power across key institutions—ranging from the military and judiciary to media and government agencies. These shifts raise serious questions about the health of our democracy and the balance of power that’s so essential to our freedom.

The results of the last election have only deepened these worries. With control over the executive branch and a sympathetic Supreme Court, there’s a real risk of eroding the checks and balances that protect our liberties. It’s important to reflect on how we got here: roughly 77 million voters supported this direction, 75 million opposed it, and over 80 million did not vote. The choices we make—or don’t make—have consequences for everyone.

Some voters have since expressed regret, feeling that what’s unfolding isn’t what they signed up for. While it’s easy to point fingers, it’s more important now to stay informed, stay engaged, and hold leaders accountable. The warning signs were there, and ignoring them—or not taking them seriously—comes at a cost.

We don’t know exactly how this will play out, but history offers sobering lessons. When democracy is taken for granted, the damage can be swift and lasting. Let’s hope that by paying attention, speaking up, and learning from the past, we can chart a better path forward.

On Sunday, Goldman Sachs said the probability of a recession in the next 12 months had jumped to 45%.

"User opted out of platform
The action attempted is disallowed, because the user has opted out of Facebook platform."

Here is another censored reposting. Title "Trump's executive order on elections is far-reaching. But will it actually stick?"

This all stems from the 2020 election that he still claims he won. By midnight on election day Trump was ahead on the voting, he wanted the voting stop at that point. Here we are five years later and he signs an executive order He wants to require voters to show proof that they are U.S. citizens before they can register for federal elections, count only mail or absentee ballots received by Election Day, set new rules for voting equipment and prohibit non-U.S. citizens from being able to donate in certain elections.

A basic question underlying the sweeping actions he signed Tuesday: Can he do it, given that the Constitution gives wide leeway to the states to develop their own election procedures? Here are some of the main points of the executive order and questions it raises.

Voters would need to provide citizenship documents to register
Trump’s order calls for the federal voter registration form to be amended so prospective voters must provide documentary proof of citizenship, such as a U.S. passport or a birth certificate.
It also says states should turn over their voter lists and records of voter list maintenance to the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Government Efficiency for review, and directs federal agencies to share data with states to help them identify noncitizens on their rolls.

If states refuse to collaborate with federal law enforcement to prosecute election crimes, they could potentially lose out on federal grants, the order says.

Noncitizen voting, which is already a felony in federal elections that can lead to prison time and deportation, is exceedingly rare. Still, Trump falsely claimed in 2024 that it might happen in large enough numbers to sway the outcome of the presidential race, and it has been a top conservative priority in recent months.

Republicans have been trying to get a documentary proof of citizenship requirement through Congress, a goal this order seeks to accomplish. Voting rights groups have expressed concern about such a requirement, saying it could disenfranchise the millions of Americans who do not have proof of citizenship readily available.

Mail ballots would need to be received by Election Day
The order requires votes to be “cast and received” by Election Day and says federal funding should be conditional on state compliance with that deadline. Currently, 18 states and Puerto Rico accept mailed ballots received after Election Day as long they are postmarked on or before that date, according to the National Conference of State Legislatures.

Obviously I had to be sign on to Facebook to make this comment.

This is how Facebook is censoring the reposting of articles that are critical of this administration.

User opted out of platform
"The action attempted is disallowed because the user has opted out of the Facebook platform."

A blatant lie—I'm signed in to Facebook.

Here’s the article they don’t want reposted: "Immigrants disappear from US detainee tracking system after deportation flights."

The real issue with this cover-up is that the American people have no idea who was actually deported. These individuals had no chance to defend themselves. How can we trust this administration’s word on anything?

Just yesterday, the world watched as the administration misled Americans about the secrecy surrounding the attack on Yemen. Why is this significant? Because if they can lie about a security breach and cover it up, they can justify attacking any country—Greenland, for example—without public input. This kind of deception paints all Americans as complicit in both government secrecy and the treatment of immigrants.

How would we even know who was truly affected?

Now that the trash administration is in control of the US government everyone should start taking notes as the country goes into bankruptcy just like other Trump-run companies have. I'm going to sit back and laugh my ass off.
