Thank you to all that donated to our adopted HopeWorks family. The basket including non-perishable items and a gift card for a turkey were delivered to HopeWorks. Because of you our adopted family will enjoy a memorable Thanksgiving meal. Next, we will collect donations for Christmas.

The Howard County Women’s Bar Association will hold its next luncheon on November 7, 2018 at Seasons 52 in Columbia. Laura E. McMahon, Esquire, Staff Attorney at Free State Justice,will speak on the best practices when representing transgender and non-confirming clients. Bring a non- perishable Thanksgiving good to donate to Hopeworks. Hope to see you there!

GIFT CARD DRIVE – HOPEWORKS

The HCWBA is currently collecting Gift Cards in support of families seeking assistance from HopeWorks, a local nonprofit organization that provides services to women, men and children impacted by sexual assault and domestic violence in Howard County.

We are collecting Gift Cards of any amount and from any merchant (i.e., Safeway, Starbucks, Walmart, Dicks, CVS, Toys R Us, Amazon, etc.) until Friday, December 15, 2017.

If you would like to participate in our Holiday Gift Card Drive, please pick up a Gift Card during your Holiday Shopping this weekend and kindly comment below or PM me, and I will make arrangements for pick-up. You may make a cash donation as well.
