Many of you know Eva and see her every day with a smile on her face. What many don’t know is that just before Thanksgiving she experienced a life-threatening medical emergency.
Her appendix ruptured, and she required emergency surgery in Mexico. Her surgeon told her she was very fortunate to be alive. She remained there recovering until January and lost income during that time.
She is back at work now — and we are grateful for that — but the medical expenses and lost wages have created a heavy financial burden. She also faces an upcoming hip surgery in the near future.
We’ve created a GoFundMe to help ease that burden and allow her to focus on staying healthy.
