Helpling Teaxs Residents get approved for mortgages. I’m Dr. Robert McNeill—most people just call me Dr. Rob.

I’ve worn many hats in my life: professor, coach, entrepreneur, and now, the mortgage partner people trust when it’s time to make one of the biggest financial moves of their lives. I work with Matador Lending to get your loan across the finish line, but I don’t work for them—I work for you. My job is to make sure you not only get approved, but also get the right loan for your situation. Here’s what you should know about me:

🎓 Educator at heart – I teach, not just sell. I want you to understand your mortgage and feel confident in your decision.

💼 Real-world experience – I’ve been in coaching, real estate, and finance long enough to know the stress people face when buying a home or investment property. My goal is to remove that stress.

✅ Personal guarantee – If your loan falls through due to no fault of your own, I’ll refund your upfront fees. I put my name on it because your trust matters more than a transaction.

🏡 Mission-driven – Whether you’re a first-time buyer, a seasoned investor, or building generational wealth, I’m here to help you make smart financial moves that last. At the end of the day, I’m not just trying to close a loan—I’m building relationships, one mortgage at a time.

People think a loan officer quotes a rate.

That is one note.

The real job is conducting the whole deal.

Marketing brings in the borrower.

The borrower needs clarity and confidence.

The realtor needs speed, communication, and trust.

Processing, underwriting, title, and conditions have to stay on beat.

One missed deadline can sink the entire file.

The client sees the closing.

They do not see the calls, corrections, document chases, and last-minute saves that made it happen.

I do not need applause.

I need the loan to fund.

Got a file everyone else called impossible?

Bring it to the podium.

In 1904, Philip A. Payton Jr. did something revolutionary.
He founded the Afro-American Realty Company, the first major Black-owned real estate firm in New York with a simple but powerful mission:

Help Black families navigate a racist housing system that was designed to exclude them.

White landlords wouldn't rent to Black tenants. Banks wouldn't finance Black buyers. The system said: "You don't qualify."
But Payton understood something critical: If you know how the system works, you can help people succeed within it.
He bought buildings from fearful white owners. He opened them to Black families. He created pathways to ownership.
Within a decade, 75% of New York's Black population moved to Harlem.
That wasn't just housing. That was economic agency.
120 years later, that same tension exists.

Business owners making $400K in revenue sit across from underwriters who only see $90K after write-offs. Their CPA saved them on taxes and it's costing them their buying power. The system says: "You don't qualify."

But qualifying isn't always about earning more. It's about structuring what you already earn so underwriters can actually see it.

That's what I do.
We analyze your tax returns the way underwriters will. We find your real qualifying income. We determine whether conventional or Non-QM gives you better positioning. We align your CPA and Realtor before you ever submit an application.

No surprises. No wasted applications. Just a clear path forward.
Payton didn't change the rules. He mastered them and built the foundation for the Harlem Renaissance in the process.

If you're a business owner planning to buy in the next 12-18 months, let's build your strategy before the system has a chance to say no.
