As I reflect on Women’s History Month and time with all of my favorite people, I think about all the things I love about being a woman. The ability to be strong and also scared. The ability to be fervent but also fragile. Knowing how to use your voice and your heart simultaneously. Mixing quantitative value with qualitative value to make a decision.
But this month. the thing I value the most is truly the other women in life. Women who protect me, love me, speak life into me, hug me, pick my children up, give me hard truths, send me inspirational songs and flowers, pray for me - I have REALLY needed it this month - all the things to let me know that no matter what - I’m covered. I am loved. I am chosen. There is something very special about the bond between women - it changes nations. It heals hearts. It is a thread that never breaks. If you don’t have you a girl tribe - get you one!
To all of you celebrating- I see you. I salute you. I’m praying for you! And remember what’s too hard for other people - is never too hard for you and your God!
