I saw a house 🏠 sold in a market I know after being for sale for one year. It sold for a significant amount more than what I calculated it was worth. Let’s just say it shouldn’t be more than $420k and it sold for $460k. If you look at the monthly costs of owning the home (mortgage and all) an estimated $3k per month, that is about $36k. Is it worth owning a home that long? Big picture is better than seeing a simple number. Time is money. Yes, also have to account for changing market .
