🌟 Meet Ashley Cromika, one of our dedicated attorneys at Garate & Associates. Her incredible work began during her time at South Texas College of Law Houston, where she delved into the injustices faced by 110 Black U.S. Army soldiers from the 1917 Houston riots.

📚 Through extensive research with the National Archives, Ashley played a pivotal role in the petition that ultimately led to the exoneration of these soldiers. Her dedication and detailed documentation were integral to this historic achievement.

🏆 We’re proud to share that Ashley helped our alma mater receive the “Champion of Justice” award from the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Her passion for justice continues to inspire us every day.

Big News: WE ARE MOVING! Starting August 1, 2020, we will be providing the same great service to our clients in a new location. We are excited to continue to provide our legal and mediation services in the Clear Lake, Harris County, and Galveston County areas. We love our current office, but we felt it was time to move on to the office that was custom built to fit our growing needs for mediation services and to fulfill our vision of our expansion of services in the future. We will be less than 2 miles from our current location. Stay tuned; we will be announcing more information closer to our moving date.

Garate Cooper, PLLC has new and exciting changes on the horizon!

We would like to announce that Jake Cooper will be stepping down and moving on to an independent venture that will take him and his family to San Antonio, Texas. Robert Garate and Jake Cooper have grown the Firm over the last three years adding services and expertise in various practice areas across Harris, Galveston, and Brazoria counties. We have appreciated Jake’s contributions to Garate Cooper, PLLC. We wish him well in his new venture and look forward to what the future holds!

Therefore, we are proud to announce the Firm will be changing its name to Garate & Associates, PLLC!
