KPRC ran a story tonight on my client’s lawsuit against David Lee Pettus, a lawyer who settled her personal injury case for $249,000 without telling her, forged her signature on the release and the check, and kept all the money. He has apparently done this to numerous other clients, so we have included a civil RICO claim against him.
If anyone knows a client or anyone who has hired Pettus or been victimized by him, I would love to talk to them.

Check out this shocking story about a Houston-area attorney who allegedly stole settlement checks from clients after their car crashes. More victims have come forward, claiming they haven't received the money they were owed and haven't heard from the attorney.
