Losing control is scarier…
I was talking to my brother about how folks avoid talking legal out of fear and I was struggling to understand the strong resistance…. Until aI realized something I know that most people don’t appreciate.
Even if you avoid the conversation, you have a plan. The law will always have a plan for you.
And when you don’t say or do anything, you accept that plan…
As is.
No returns.
No warrantees.
And most of the time, their plan is much scarier than the conversation you avoided.
So take this as a friendly reminder: how you think the law works and how it actually works are rarely the same.
