Jonathan earned his Masters of Business Administration from Houston Baptist University in 1989, and his Bachelors degree from Central Michigan University in 1983. He was a National Merit Scholar, and has been active in youth sports in his community since 1997. The firm's primary practice areas currently are: Bankruptcy, Family Law, Probate, Real Estate Law, and Small Business. Sykes has a high success rate mediating a variety of cases for other attorneys and for the Dispute Resolution Center. In 2012-2013, he served as the President of the Houston Northwest Bar Association.
