Being a working woman (and mom) is exhausting. Especially in and as you get more senior (especially in ), there aren’t many left. The fight got too hard and you understand why many of them gracefully exited the race.
So if you’re still there, you find yourself in a position of either 1) stay quiet and be perfect so you can continue to “make it”; or 2) raise your voice when you see sh*t that pisses you off.
I usually choose option 2 which is exhausting and tiring AF and puts my own career on the line, but this quote reminds me that it’s worth it.
