Chance McMillan
Chance A. McMillan is a board certified personal injury trial lawyer who was born in Kirbyville, Texas and raised around the Houston area. Mr. McMillan attended the University of St. Thomas in Houston on an academic scholarship graduating Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Philosophy. After college, Mr. McMillan attended South Texas College of Law located in downtown Houston where he was frequently included on the school’s Dean’s List showcasing academic significance among his fellow classmates..
At South Texas, Mr. McMillan won back-to-back regional championships (Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi), plus a national championship for the school’s nationally acclaimed advocacy program in mock trial competitions. He won numerous awards for his speaking abilities while in law school. Mr. McMillan was inducted into the Order of the Barristers, a nationally recognized honor society made up of the country’s best oral advocates. His impact on his law school was so significant that South Texas College of Law asked Mr. McMillan to serve as an adjunct professor at the age of 26 to teach students trial strategies and techniques.
