All the king cakes have been delivered. Anyone mediating with me 5 or more times got a king cake straight from Gambino's in NOLA (half day mediations count as 1 and full days count as 2) and anyone mediating more than once got a mini king cake from Great Harvest bakery in Katy, Texas. The attorney who mediated the most with me in 2022, also got a gift certificate to Brennan's.

FOMO on all the fais-do-do? Don't fret, Cher. It's only 6 weeks into 2023, so you have plenty of time to book those mediations and become part of the krewe. Lagniappe is you get to settle your cases and hang out with me. Each year we'll have king cakes from different NOLA bakeries so no need to worry, bruh. Don't have me asking "Where y'at?". Come see me. 💜💚💛⚜️

Today is Epiphany or Twelfth Night. This year, I am celebrating it by announcing that all attorneys who mediated with me 5 or more times in 2022 will receive a king cake from New Orleans (right in time for Mardi Gras). And the lucky person who mediated the most with me in 2022, will also get a gift certificate to Brennan's.

No need to fret though, all attorneys who mediated 2 or more times will also get a thank you from me. Look for an email next week to see if you're on the list. And even if you're not, remember 2023 just started so let's get to booking your mediations and let me help settle your next case. 💜💚💛⚜️

My theme song is Alison’s Starting to Happen by the Lemonheads. My favorite line is “she’s the puzzle piece behind the couch that makes the sky complete.” It says so much about how even small things make a large impact. Today I was trusted by a family to be a tiny piece in their life to help them avoid a lot of pain and hardship. Reason 3,017 why I ❤️ my job.
