Shaping Texas Conference 2026 | San Antonio

What an incredible few days at the Texas REALTORS® Shaping Texas Conference in San Antonio! 🤠🏡

This conference was so much more than educational sessions. It was an opportunity to learn, connect, grow, and gain an even deeper understanding of the incredible organization we have representing REALTORS® across our great state of Texas.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with fellow REALTORS® from across the state, exchange ideas, and have meaningful conversations with some of the great leaders in our industry. Every conversation reminded me of the importance of staying involved, continuing to learn, and working together to strengthen our profession and better serve our communities.

And one of the best parts? Sharing these days with my HAR family, our wonderful Board of Directors, my TRLP family, Women’s Council of REALTORS®, and so many amazing friends and colleagues this profession has brought into my life.

Real estate has given me much more than a career. It has given me friendships, mentors, opportunities to serve, and a community of professionals who inspire me to keep growing and giving back.

I’m returning home energized, inspired, and even more grateful to be part of the REALTOR® family in Texas.

Learning. Connecting. Serving. Leading. Together, we are shaping the future of Texas real estate. ⭐️

Right now, sellers are flexible on the price in ways they weren't before. Let’s take advantage of that flexibility.

You may be surprised by what's available – and how willing today's sellers are to work with buyers.

You're scrolling through listings on your phone and everything looks good until you see the price (or the estimated monthly payment). Then you close the app.

Quick question: what's the one word you'd use to describe this year so far?

For a lot of people, it's stressful. And when everything feels shaky, it’s easy to second-guess the move you were ready to make. But the truth is, the housing market is one thing that’s been remarkably stable.

Home prices have been relatively steady for about 4 years now. The number of homes for sale is right about where it was last year (up 2%). And mortgage rates have held in the same general 6-7% range since late 2022.

A steady market comes with a perk. You can actually plan. What works for your budget today probably won’t look all that different in a few months.

You don’t have to wait for things to calm down. The housing market’s already pretty steady. Send me a DM or drop a comment below, and let's compare the market you walked away from to the one that's here now.

Torn between renovating your current home and moving to a new one? 🏡🔨

It's one of the most common questions homeowners wrestle with, and the answer usually comes down to three things:

1️⃣ Does your home have a "ceiling"? Some layouts and lots can be improved endlessly; others cap out no matter how much you spend.
2️⃣ What would the renovation really cost — in money, time, and living through it? Be honest about all three.
3️⃣ Is it the house or the location you've outgrown? You can renovate a kitchen. You can't renovate a commute or a school zone.

There's no universal right answer — it depends on your home, your budget, and your goals. But walking through these three usually makes the decision a lot clearer.

Call, text, or email us at (713) 291-4022 or [email protected] — happy to be a sounding board, no pressure either way.

The rest of the world may feel unpredictable right now, but the housing market doesn't have to. Prices, inventory, and rates have all found solid ground.

If stability is what you've been waiting for, it's already here. Let’s connect if you want to talk through what that means for your move.

A recent survey from Talker Research asked Americans to pick one word to describe how 2026 has felt so far. The winner? Stressful. And honestly, there’s been a lot going on.

🚫 Myth: "Once summer ends, buyers disappear — so it's a bad time to sell."

✅ Fact: The end-of-summer buyer is often the most serious one out there.

The casual browsers do thin out. But the people still looking as summer winds down usually have a real reason to move — a job change, a lease ending, a family that wants to be settled before the school year. Fewer tire-kickers, more motivated buyers, and less competition from other listings.

"Wait until spring" is common advice, but spring also means listing into the most crowded season of the year. Selling as summer ends can mean a smaller pool of buyers who are far more likely to actually make an offer.

Call, text, or email us at (713) 291-4022 or [email protected] and let's talk through what makes sense for your home.

Most home sales still close, and the biggest thing that could get in the way of yours is the one thing you can actually do something about.

With the right prep, your sale has every reason to make it to the finish. So, let’s connect and get your house sold.

Few things are as rattling as the thought of your home sale falling through at the last minute, right before closing. All that waiting, all that progress, out the window.
