Lunceford v Craft: Opening Statements.
Republicans started off really hard. Multiple mathematical issues they raised. Almost appeared as if this case was hopeless. The use of jelly beans being counted was beautiful. I would have gave them a verdict in their favor on spot. HOWEVER,
Democrats opening was a symposium in election law and standards of reviewing election law. I have never seen an attorney attack the credibility of witnesses so artfully during an opening. They brought home the point that we are not counting jelly beans. We are talking about real voters. That was a powerful message. I have to admit the Dems took the cake on opening! Great job by both attorneys.
