2 second degree felony drug charges *dismissed* about a week ago. Took a year, trial date approaching, but hey - that’s what it took in this scenario. Bottom line: Clients, family, and myself *very* happy. Nightmare over. Life begins again for my clients. 👍

Let it never be said I don't take my fiduciary duty to my clients deadly seriously. I was sitting at Gate E20 ready to board flight overseas when I get a frantic call from client saying she was being hauled off to jail for missing court. She didn't. I can prove it. None of the bureaucrats in Montgomery County would listen to me. If I didn't straighten out problem client would be stuck in jail until next Wed at earliest. SO... I walked out of airport. Skipped flight. Took over an hour, talking to 5 different divisions. Finally got the Judge. Warrant rescinded. Apologies to me issued. Client is safe at home.

I apologize/am happy to say that I've been so busy with actually DOING the Law, I've not had time to write about what I've been doing. I'll try to update more soon, but if I don't know that it's because I've been too busy actually working. In fact, need to go post an Attorney bond in Fort Bend now to spring a client to freedom...
