🏡 Imagine owning a home… and paying NO property taxes.
Across the U.S., several states are starting to push proposals to cut or even eliminate property taxes.
📍 Texas lawmakers are looking at ways to reduce property taxes using state budget surpluses.
📍 Indiana has even discussed plans to eliminate property taxes entirely by 2027.
The challenge? Property taxes currently fund schools, police, fire departments, and local services, so if they disappear, that revenue has to come from somewhere else.
For real estate investors, this could dramatically change how property returns are calculated.
Especially in Texas, where property taxes are among the highest in the country.
❓ Do you think Texas should eliminate or reduce property taxes?
