Nicole R. Bates, is a knowledgeable and respected attorney who has been practicing law in Harris and surrounding counties for over 17 years. With an emphasis on Family, Juvenile and Criminal, Nicole has extensive litigation experience in divorce, child custody and child support, as well as juvenile delinquency and criminal defense. She knows the law and she will fight for your rights. Likewise, Attorney Bates and her staff have handled many cases in the areas of personal injury (auto accident), consumer law, creditor/debtor, immigration and government/administrative. Nicole also serves as Chief of Staff for Representative Harold V. Dutton, Jr. when the Texas Legislature is in session, giving her a unique background in that it has afforded her the opportunity to work with Texas lawmakers creating laws, drafting laws and getting laws passed, not just practicing law. To Nicole, "Justice delayed is justice denied" is not just a legal maxim. She truly believes that if legal redress is available but is not forthcoming in a timely fashion, it is effectively the same as having no redress at all.
