After 6 settings waiting for the State to “evaluate” their case, the State finally realized they had no case and dismissed the charge. Glad they finally saw the light, but it should not have taken this long.

If you are doing something that requires to ask the other person if they are in law enforcement in hopes of it getting you out of trouble later, you probably should not be doing it. And it won't get you out of the trouble you should not be doing anyway. They do not have to admit they are law enforcement.

I shared my investigation information with the prosecutor prior to the case going to the grand jury. The information was shared with the grand jury, which promptly "no billed" the case. Thank you to the prosecutor for a fair presentation of the case.

Jury trial and verdict turn out as I expected--unfortunately. But, one of the jurors asked for my card, just in case he/she ever knew someone who needed a lawyer. I will take that as a compliment.

Aggravated Robbery--dismissed. I was finally able to convince the prosecutor that the identification of my client was faulty. Pretty darn happy right now! Hard work pays off.
