NO Bill Victory!
Today a sexual assault case involving two teenagers was presented to the Grand Jury for indictment. It is a closed proceeding, which only the DA gets to participate while the defense is excluded. However, in the defense of my client I prepared a packet on behalf of the Defendant, and the DA presented it to the Grand Jury for their consideration. After reading the statement/packet, the Grand Jury NO BILLED the case and dismissed it! It is a huge win for my young client who didn’t deserve to be put through the fictitious allegations brought against him. Now he can resume his life without fear of a false conviction.
